Plantar Fasciitis Pain Relief with K-Laser Therapy

Heel pain can make every step hurt.

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain and can make walking, standing, exercising, and even those first few steps in the morning painful.

K-Laser Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that may help reduce pain and inflammation while supporting the recovery of irritated tissue.

The goal: less heel pain and a more comfortable return to the activities you enjoy.

“Christina is currently treating me for plantar fasciitis and tendinitis in my foot while I train for this Ironman 70.3 in Salem. She has resolved my planner fasciitis and brought my tendinitis pain down from a seven to a two while I’m still training on it. I highly recommend anybody who has any sort of pain, needs help healing or is just curious to reach out to Christina. She is so passionate about what she does and wants to help as many people as possible.” Amanda Jacob

What Is Plantar Fasciitis?

The plantar fascia is a strong band of tissue that runs along the bottom of your foot, connecting your heel to your toes and helping support the arch of your foot.

When this tissue becomes irritated, plantar fasciitis can develop. Pain is usually felt near the heel and is often worse with the first steps in the morning or after sitting for a period of time.

For some people, the pain eases as they begin moving, only to return after prolonged standing, walking, or activity.

Common symptoms include:

  • Sharp or aching heel pain

  • Pain with the first steps after getting out of bed

  • Pain after sitting or resting

  • Increased pain after prolonged standing or walking

  • Tenderness along the heel or bottom of the foot

How K-Laser Therapy May Help Plantar Fasciitis

K-Laser Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to deliver energy to tissue beneath the surface. For plantar fasciitis, treatment is focused on the painful and irritated areas of the heel and plantar fascia.

K-Laser Therapy may help:

  • Reduce pain and inflammation

  • Increase circulation to the treated area

  • Support tissue repair and recovery

  • Improve comfort with walking and activity

Because plantar fasciitis can have different contributing factors, treatment is tailored to where you are experiencing pain and tenderness.

The treatment is non-invasive, comfortable, and requires no downtime.

What Does Treatment Feel Like?

What to Expect During Treatment

K-Laser Therapy for plantar fasciitis is comfortable and non-invasive. Most people feel a gentle warmth as the laser is moved over the heel and bottom of the foot.

Treatment itself typically takes only a few minutes, depending on the area being treated.

There are no needles, injections, or recovery time. You can walk out and continue with your day afterward.

How many treatments you may need depends on how long you’ve had plantar fasciitis, the severity of your symptoms, and how you respond to treatment.

Who May Be a Good Candidate?

Is K-Laser Therapy Right for Your Plantar Fasciitis?

K-Laser Therapy may be worth considering if heel pain is interfering with walking, work, exercise, or the activities you enjoy.

People often come to us after trying things such as stretching, shoe changes, inserts, rest, or other conservative approaches without getting the relief they hoped for.

You don’t have to know whether K-Laser Therapy is right for you before contacting us. We can talk about what you’ve been experiencing and whether it makes sense to try treatment.

“I’ve been struggling with plantar fasciitis for almost a year.  I’ve tried to treat it with rolling it on frozen water bottles and lacrosse balls, and rolling out more on foam rollers.  All with limited success.  After working with Christina for three sessions, the pain, discomfort, and tension in my heel area has improved tremendously.  I can walk now without a slight limp and it feels like this treatment is helping me heal.” Craig Thomas, Salem
